Hello!
We have started a blog! I am hoping that this will be an easy, convenient way to keep you updated on what is going on in our lives and how Raine is growing - which she seems to do very fast. So, I'll get right down to business... ;)
Raine is so close to walking! She just takes off whenever she is holding onto something. She walks all over holding one of my hands. She also loves to push our big exercise ball around walking behind it and she practically runs while pushing her little push cart. She just loves to go and explore!
She has opened her first 2 presents of the holiday season. She thought it was pretty neat. She has been very into hugging and snuggling everything, so she of course had to huge her gifts before opening them. The first gift she just kind of hugged, chewed on and turned over and over in her hands. Then we showed her how to rip it and she figured it out from there.
Raine has also discovered the joys of empty rapping paper tubes. At first she just banged in on everything, but now she holds it to her mouth and talks into it. Too fun, and she figured that one out on her own. She is such a good climber too. She climbs all over everything, me, the couch, her daddy, toys, her bed, I could go on and on. :)
We are looking forward to enjoying a white Christmas in Utah. Heith and Haiden might get to teach Raine all about sledding. She likes pillow fights so much, I think she will like snow ball fights as well. :)

Verna, it was so wonderful to see you and meet Raine for the first time at your grandma's house. She is such a beautiful baby. Your mom keeps me updated and I have been able to see her grow through pictures. Hope to see you next time you come back to Alamosa. You all have a Wonderful New Year. Heather

Verna, The pictures from Christmas are great. Raine is just so cute! Looks like you all had a great Christmas and trip, and Raine sure seemed to enjoy opening her presents. It was neat seeing the ones with the chair too, did you take those right after our phone call, or during. It's almost, kind of like being there. How neat that you went to Rustin's hockey game, that sounds like fun. Thanks for adding the links, I am excited to go see pictures of Heith and Haiden too! Looks like thay have grown a lot too.
